Convocatoria para artistas chinas de cualquier parte del mundo.
El Centro de Cultura Digital y 5célula arte y comunidad abren la convocatoria para artistas chinas que vivan en la China Continental, Hong Kong, Taiwan, o cualquier otro lugar del mundo, a participar en este Festival de Videoarte de artistas chinas que tendrá lugar en la Ciudad de México en el mes de mayo.
Somos un colectivo internacional de artistas que trabajamos para hacer visible el arte producido por mujeres, y esta vez queremos que el videoarte hecho por artistas chinas sea conocido fuera de su entorno geográfico natural.
Esperamos que puedan compartir con el público de México los diferentes discursos artísticos, perspectivas, estéticas y temas que abordan mujeres con raíces culturales similares pero distintos entornos personales. Sus obras en video contribuirán a enriquecer el conocimiento del videoarte chino y de las artistas chinas en un mundo occidental y masculino.
Las proyecciones del Festival serán en el Centro de Cultura Digital y en sedes alternativas del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México.
Además de la proyección de sus videos habrán conferencias, talleres y actividades participativas todas relacionadas con China y sus mujeres.
Para participar:
a. Enviar hasta 3 obrs de video arte via wetransfer,
b. Acompañadas del Formulario de Inscripción (uno por video)
c. 2 imágenes por cada obra (jpg, 800×600 px, 300 dpi)

d. Los videos no deben ser mayors de 2 G.
Formatos:
a. Mínimo: 720×576 (PAL) or 720×480 (NTSC), HD mpeg2 (DVD), mov (Quicktime, H264 codec only), mp4, wmv (Windows Media), flv (Flash video)
b. No hay límite de duración, y si tienen otro tipo de propuesta, (Documental, ficción), nos gustaría saber.
En caso de que se utilice lenguaje hablado, deberán estar subtitulados al inglés o, de preferencia, al español.

Curadoras:
Elizabeth Ross es artista, gestora, agente socio-cultural, curadora y periodista de trayectoria internacional. Ha sido iniciadora de procesos socioculturales y líder de proyectos artísticos, de investigación, periodísticos y comunitarios, en los cuales ha buscado de manera insistente la intersección del arte, medio ambiente, memoria, política y sociedad, junto con la creación de redes que potencien el desarrollo de los proyectos y de se implican en ellos. Funda y dirige dos organizaciones que enlazan al arte con las distintas comunidades, ya sea en México con 5célula o en Europa con 3Multiverse. Desde el 2003 prefiere hacer y mostrar su obra en las calles y lugares públicos. Pertenece al SNCA, Sistema Nacional de Creadores Artísticos.

Dr. Liu Fan es artista, crítica y curadora china. Es académica visitante de la Universidad Libre de Berlin. Ha producido varios proyectos internacionales en China y en Europa y escrito múltiples artículos sobre el arte contemporáneo chino. Ha traducido también libros de arte al chino. Su obra ha sido exhibida ampliamente en China, Europa y América

向世界中国女性艺术家征集作品：
数字文化中心和第5艺术细胞机构向居住在大陆，港澳台以及世界其他地区的中国女性艺术家参加2015年在墨西哥城举办的独一无二的中国女性艺术家录像艺术节。
我们是推广女性艺术创作的国际女性聚合体。这一次，我们想将中国女性艺术家创作的录像艺术在其创作的地理环境之外推广。
我们很乐意你们——拥有不同背景但却同根的中国女性艺术家们，与我们分享不同的方法、观点、美学、文章和问题。你们的录像艺术作品将扩展西方/男性艺术世界内关于中国女性录像艺术作品以及中国女性艺术家的认知。
艺术节的放映活动将在墨西哥城的数字文化中心以及其它历史文化中心举行。除了录像放映活动，还将开展有关中国和中国女性的讲座、工作坊和各种艺术或文化交流活动。
1) 作品提交：
a．请通过wetransfer(www.wetransfer.com)最多提交3件录像艺术作品
b.每件附2张截图（JPG格式，800×600像素，300分辨率）
c.同每件作品的报名表发送到邮箱 womenfestival@163.com
d.录像作品不能超过2G
2）作品格式
a.最小尺寸：720×576（PAL）或720×480（NTSC），高清MPEG2（DVD），MOV（QuickTime，H264 code），MP4，WMV（Windows Media），FLV（Flash video）。
b.没有播放长度限制。如果您有任何录像艺术以外的其他种类的艺术表达形式（比如纪录片，故事片等），请务必让我们知道。
3）作品要求：为了语言交流的正常，录像必须有英文字幕（也可附加西班牙语字幕）
4）截止日期：2015年4月15日
5）入选通知：我们将与您联系并告知最后结果。

伊丽莎白罗斯是艺术家、艺术项目经理、社会文化经纪人、策展人、国际记者。她的先锋社会文化活动涵盖艺术、调查、新闻与社区的发展。她坚持不懈的研究艺术、环境、记忆、女性主义、政治与社会之间的相互作用关系。
她创建和领导了第5细胞艺术社区机构（5célula）这个非营的利组织，将艺术与不同的社区联系起来。她还是国家艺术创造者体系的成员。

刘凡博士是一位来自中国的艺术家，评论家和策展人，现居柏林，是柏林自由大学访问学者。她策划了多个在中国和欧洲的国际项目，还撰写了多篇关于中国当代艺术的文章。她还翻译了外文艺术书籍。她的作品在中国，欧洲和北美等国家和地区展出。

International Call to Chinese women artists anywhere.
The Digital Culture Centre and 5célula arte y comunidad open a call for Chinese artists living in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or any other place in the world to participate in this unique Chinese Women Artists Video Art Festival that will take place in Mexico City in 2015.
We are an international collective of women working to make the Art produced by women visible, and this time we want to make Chinese video art made by women be better known outside its natural geographical environment.
We would love you to share with us the different approaches, perspectives, aesthetics, artistic discourses and issues you work with, as Chinese women with different backgrounds that share the same cultural roots. Your video art works will contribute to enrich the knowledge of Chinese women video art and Chinese female artists in a Western/male Art world.
The Festival Screenings will be in the Centro de Cultura Digital and in alternative venues of the Historical Center of Mexico City. Along with the screenings there will be lectures, workshops and participatory activities all related to China and Chinese Women.

- Please send up to 3 video art works via wetransfer,
- Accompanied by the Entry Form (one for each video)
- 2 screenshots for each submission (jpg, 800×600 px, 300 dpi) to womenfestival@163.com
- Videos must be not larger than 2 G.
2) Formats:

- There is no limit to duration, and if you have any other kind of work other than video art, (documentary, fiction), please let us know.
- Requirement:
In case language is used, it must have English subtitles (Spanish would be a plus!).

Who we are
The Centro de Cultura Digital (Digital Culture Centre) is the Mexican national Centre aimed to the research of digital technology and its influence in the everyday life, interested in a cultural dialogue between contemporary creators and the publics.

Elizabeth Ross is an artist, art projects manager, socio-cultural agent, curator, and journalist with an international presence. She has pioneered sociocultural processes involving art, research, journalism and community development, persistently searching the intersection between art, environment, memory, feminism, politics and society.
She founds and directs 5célula, a non-profit organization to link art and different communities. She’s a member of the SNCA, Art Creators National System.

Dr. Liu Fan is an artist, critic and curator from China and based in Berlin now. She is a visiting scholar at Free University in Berlin. She has produced many international projects in China and Europe and written articles about Chinese contemporary art. She has also translated many art books into Chinese. Her works has been showed world widely in China, Europe and America.
